OnePlus has just launched the Nord 4, its latest smartphone in the Nord series, at the Summer Launch event in Italy. As promised, the phone features a 6.74-inch 1.5K 2.8D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate and the ProXDR display technology from the OnePlus 12 series.
Powered by the Snapdrago 7+ Gen 3 SoC, the Nord 4 comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It utilizes a high-density graphite sheet, a steel vapor chamber, and a micron-level copper foil, totaling 17,900 square millimeters of cooling area to maintain performance under high temperatures.
The phone’s aluminum back is crafted using advanced techniques, including a nano-etched design and an innovative antenna design. Running on Android 14 with Oxygen OS 14, OnePlus has committed to 4 years of Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates, the longest support for any OnePlus phone to date.
The Nord 4 is equipped with a 50MP main camera featuring a Sony LYT-600 sensor and OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The iconic three-stage alert slider has been repositioned to the left-hand side, similar to the OnePlus 12 series.
It houses a 5500mAh battery and supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of reaching 100% in just 28 minutes.
